Well, I went the ARC and uncle isn't fired. In fact, they want us to apply for Development Disabilities (OMRDD) so he can even get more help then he is getting now. I was so thrilled about that. I feel it's an answer to prayers. He is going to be going to a group with the girls from his job and some guys to talk about dating and relationships. I feel like middle school all over again. But I am happy for the support. I can't imagine the next life, and who he will be, I mean I know he will be the same person, but without his limitations and I wonder what he will say to me.

Dad and I are thrilled with our canopy over our deck. We got a fire pit for the lower deck and we sat there tonight and watched the sun set. Some guy came to give us an estimate for the pool installation, but he didn't seem too thrilled. So we'll see what progress we make.


Bry - dad loved the youtube you sent. You can post YouTube on the blog, did you know that. And he is jealous of the Chopper.

All in all, it was a pretty good day. I love your dad! And I love you. Dad got another tick bite, this time it looks infected.

Bry and Kristie - our prayers are with you as you travel to Virginia. I know it will all go well for you.

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together.
