Slow Week!

Well - it's been a slow week on the blog. Stacey's been sick, Jess has been in NY and I have just been busy and tired. But it's nice to hear from Bryant.

Tonight me and dad went to look at pools. It would be nice for him to have in the summer when he comes home so hot from work. Of course, it would have been nice for you kids to have growing up....but it didn't happen. Aren't you glad we didn't spoil you though?? It would just be a round above ground. Dad would love an inground, but I am sure there is a price difference. Duh!

Jess and Charly went back this morning. Charly is such a happy girl. She loves to be naked and tickled. Doesn't everyone??

Call Grandma Hett this weekend and wish her a happy mother's day --- 226-2269

I am having second thoughts about the Lasik surgery....central air sounds good....but we have to see if we can get it in zones....you know we'll never get it at this rate.

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together.
