i'm alive!

Me a year ago... crazy!!!
hi! it's me..
i do exist!


seem to be just a little bit busier lately
packing, cleaning, getting ready for halloween (cant wait), making final arrangements, ETC...
but i am proud to say that i have only have 1 mental break down.... and it only lasted a few min.
jeron might beg to differ..... but i think i am handeling myself better than how i expected.
i'm just trying to forget all the stresses and focus on my little family before we have to say "see ya later" (no goodbyes)

ANYWAY


we went to sixth street in Austin..... it's a whole entire street filled w/ bars and resturants and clubs and piano bars, and coffee shops..

it is truly an experience. Around 10 they close off the whole street to any traffic and there are tons and tons of people lining the streets....

Me and jeron got there around 8... ate at a cute little sports bar... then went to the deuling piano bar.... i think everyone should experience one of them once in their lives.... Everyone is singing to the songs the pianists plays at the top of their lungs and they take requests too...

me and jeron requested Hotel California by the eagles and sang our hearts out to it.... along with everyone else...

after a few hours we left and wound up at the cyote ugly bar.. (remember there was a movie made out of it, where all the girls dance on the bar) anyway we walk in.. and there are a bunch of girls on top of the bar and suprisingly jeron was like "go up there" i was in shock... but then again when am i ever gonna do this again.... i might as well... so i got up there danced for not even a min then got down.... it was so not like me, but it was fun, and now i can say i've done it.

(what an accomplishment huh) hahaha


anyway, after that we walked the street and went to a club and dance the night away.... then on they walk to our car got a slice of pizza, then drove back to our hotel.


it was really a great weekend, and just the perfect ending to our time here together in Texas.

tomorrow we are headed down to san antonio with eder and vanessa. I'm very excited to see vanessas family again..

they are throwing charly a birthday party so jeron can celebrate charlys birthday before he leaves. it is so sweet of them.

I'll be sure to write about it when we get back

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

i like texas

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together.
