David's 40th Birthday!

Image
Here are some pictures from my cousin David's 40th birthday. All day he said "I'm 40 years old today." So cute, right. Anyway....I wish you all could have been there. It was amazing. I never got to know David as I was growing up. He was raised by a foster family. Now as adults, we are getting to know David. He is really special and you can only feel happy when you are around him. He has manerism like Uncle Gilbert and is loud like Tommy! His foster family loves him very much and even after the parents died, his foster "brothers and sisters" care for him. I didn't know that Aunt Vicki has always been involved in his life, just from the sidelines a bit. I can't imagine the ache she has carried around in her heart all these years. It was a wonderful day of bringing together two families that love David very much.

My Hip Hoppers!

It was so fun to experience my first little recital! When I figure out how to get my video camera clip on here i will post the dances. My little hip hop girls were sooo good! while the other girls in the other dances had to watch their teacher off the stage the whole time, my girls knew there steps inside and out and did so awesome! Then the older girls did "Fearless Heart" an EFY song I have always loves and it was soo awesome. I cried the whole way through. It was so rewarding to see people dancing my dances, and dancing them with a lot of love and excitement!

watch this... especially bryant.

We are getting a puppy!!!

With all the baby love going on, Jake and I are going to take the intermediate step and get ourselves a little puppy. We are getting a little boy maltese! He is going to come to us from Oklahoma! We have been back and forth with lots of names. There are a few we like... Cruizer, Scooter are just a few. He is only 3 weeks old right now, so he basically looks like a gerbel, but this is a youtube i found of an 8 week old puppy, which will be how old our puppy is when we will get him! You are all gonna love him!

Happy Birthday Bryant

For God so loved our family that he gave us you!

5 Languages of Loves

We had book club last weekend and the book was Five Languages of Love by Gary Chapman. I highly recommend you read it. I will buy a copy and we can pass around or just go to your library for one. In the back of the book is an assessment to how you like to receive love either through Touch Words of Affirmation Acts of Service Gifts Quality Time or you can do the short little assessment online at http://www.fivelovelanguages.com/30sec.html#love The book is quick and easy to read and really has a lot of good insight into relationships.

Does It Get Any Better Than This???
