Jake's political views

this is a post jake made to his friends from utah, but I thought since Jake rarely writes on here, or in general, i would share his thoughts on politics! "Ok, here's the deal. I have to get this off my back. All my life, I have been a Republican, but it hasn't been until the last couple years of my life when I actually became Politically interested. After returning from my mission I have become somewhat partial to the Conservative "sect" (not to be confused with "Republican", for they are slightly different). As Good As It Gets

So last night dad and I took the bike down to the river at about twlight! The sky was so pretty and the bridge lights were lit. We sat on our favorite bench and chatted and joked and dreamed. I jokingly said to dad "I guess this is as good as it's going to get." And we laughed. And you know what? It's not so bad.

Family Home Evening

We had such fun at Family Home. We had the Ashworth's over and had a lesson about the Wise Man and the Foolish Man. No one enjoyed it more than Charly. She was singing all the songs, even Called to Serve! She is good at faking that she knows the words. But she definitely knew the words to I Am A Child Of God. She was thrilled that we all did too. She ate the jello for dessert like "it was her job!" I took a video but I am having trouble posting it. Just give me a while.
