We had a great Memorial Day - it started with a parade in Hyde Park - we all wore our red, white and blue! Then we went to Whaley Lake. Dad's jetski broke first thing, but it was spectacular day. We were with the Ashworths, the Prettymans, the Coppollas and the rest of the ward. Lots of fun! Charly climbed on the table and stole one of dad's birthday cupcakes!!

Wonder what would happen if we treated our Book of Mormon like our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we spent an hour or more using it each day? What if we used it to receive messages from its text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? This is something to make you go ...Hummm...where is my Book of Mormon?

Hearing him cooing and watching him hold his head up without looking like a bobble head. We took Will to the beach for the first time and he loved his feet in the sand but when the water came up it was a bit cold. Every moment with Will is a special occasion. And we are so blessed to be his parents. With mothers day coming up I have really been thinking about it....I have a new respect for our mothers and for the events they endured as they raised us. I know that it was filled with special firsts and some heartach but mostly filled with a love that is so strong. Thank you for not giving u...
