Our Trip to Utah

Wills first trip to Utah was a long one. We made it to Atlanta but getting to Utah from there was going to be impossible. So we ended up flying to Denver, then to SLC. What a long day! Will was making friends left and right and I would have to say that there are nice people out there, always willing to lend a hand to a mother traveling alone with her baby. He did really good on the flights, mostly sleeping. You can really see his personality coming through. I think we are going to be in trouble with this one, he was flirting with all of the ladies.
We rode the frontliner while we were visiting. It's really neat and you make it into Salt Lake from Kaysville just over 20min. Not bad.
He's still a little to small for this chair that hooks on the counter but he was full of smiles anyway.
He's just too cute!
It was really cold when we were visiting and we had to buy a jacket for him.

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together. I feel like we have come so far from where we were 2 years ago... when I didn't eve...
