Picnic At Sugarhouse Park!

We took advantage of a perfect Saturday late April and headed up to Sugarhouse to have a picnic and visit with Jordan. We got KFC and sat by the stream. The kids loved playing in the water! We all decided to head to City Creek in Salt Lake City to show everyone around the new amazing mall.

OK, I'll try...but I'm not much of a writer. Let's see what's going on with me...We finally finished our patio this past weekend! You have no idea how horrible it was last summer to be in this house with no place to be outside. I couldn't stand it. We love to sit by the firepit and hang out all weekend and we just couldn't. It will really be different this year! The pool is also ready to go...anyone want to come swim? Katie is coming out in just over a month...I can't wait! I'm going to try and convince Michael to take her other ticket, but I know he's busy...so we'll see. Krystle is turning 13 this month...man, I'm old! It's crazy how time flies. It really makes you appreciate each day. I'm still at my job at the x-ray lab and Brian is still at the airport...we don't like change I guess. So, that's it for now...we are all good! Maryland...our new home

Jake and I arrived safely in Maryland on Wednesday. It was 113 degrees out the day we got there!! wow. The area is.....black people! haha. I really don't mind. I feel safe in our little apartment. We have been busy buying things, and painting to make it homey. It's been a lot of fun, except we have nothing. Jake wanted to make pancakes the other morning, and we had to go buy all the ingredients, pan and spatula to make them. We are accumulating things now though. Here are some rough pics of what we have been doing. Its still a mess..no where to put clothes, or all the random things we have. We will get organized. Jake loves to paint and put everything together. Its cute to watch, but man...the kid won't take a break to even eat!! haha. at this point he has been looking for batteries we bought the other day for about 40 min now. Good Ol' Virginia

Kristie and I recently went to Virginia Beach to hopefully find a job. I had interviews at 2 different dealerships. One in Virginia Beach and one in Hampton which is 10min Northeast of Virginia Beach. They had me spent one whole day in the shop to see what it is like. There are a few kids from school that were there and my old neighbor who I went on motorcycle rides with was also there. The shop was cool, we had a Lamborghini come to the shop that day, it was sweet. Then on Thursday we went to the other shop and they showed me around and I talked to the service manager and the shop foreman and they really want me to come and work for them, so we will see what plays out. We also did a lot of apartment searching, so it was a really full time. The area is so beautiful, but we got lost so many times because there are no mountains and to many trees. But anyway that was our trip really fun.
