This pic is for you Jess!!! In my class we have been working on the Food Guide Pyramid, which I think is awesome! (i would being a Foods teacher). If you haven't seen the new food guide pyramid I would highly suggest you check out mypyramid.gov. They have personalized the pyramid for each individual and added in physical activity in the mix. They really did a good job with it. So my kids have been keeping food journals, and have been entering their food into the website, and writing papers on their goals and what they have learned. Today we made cookies. I had them cut out triangle, and we frosted them. Each student have the take their information and using mini m&ms had to make their pyramid cookie based on their results from the past few days. I walked around and had eat kid explain their cookie to me. If i saw only one red m&m, i knew that they didn't eat enough fruits, since red represents fruits on my mypyramid. Do I look like Punky Brewster? Because I get it ALL the time! I like to talk about the Bachelor, because lets be honest...my own life...not too exciting! I think its going to come down to Bevan and Tess. They are one two different sides of the chain, but I think he likes them both. So. I went to my first SPINNING class yesterday. I had gone to a few in Utah, but I really liked this one. They have the lights off and black lights on the whole time, and really good music like Evanescence, and Gwen Stephani. My butt is killing me from that little seat, but everyone says you get used to it. I had more sweat than ever before. It really felt good. I had a phone interview with Lehi Junior High School today. The guy was really nice. I didn't let the interview phase me. Its not a full time position, but it still seemed really nice. I would only have to work 2 hours a day, and get paid for four. Come on all you slackers!!! What happened to you?? I wanna hear what's going on. I still haven't seen Bryant post on this! Anyway -- today let's see....pretty uneventful. Work is good. Dad put your baby crib up. 25 years old and someone teethed on it. He powerwashed it and we "lysoled" it and it's up and probably will stay up for a long time. I figure at least until Jeron gets back from Iraq and then longer because I will have other grandbabies that will be visiting. Now we are going to dinner with the Walls and Maya and Greg (I can't spell their last name). Moose had his first Alpo in a can last night because I was out of dry food and tonight he was very dissapointed that I bought dry food.
