Easter Weekend!

So, I would like us to be all together, especially since Bry and Kristie are going to be leaving soon for Utah. This might be our last chance for a little while. (I am trying not to cry!)

Since we can't meet 1/2 way at Stacey and Jake's because they have house guests, I thought we could try for an amusement park. I thought we could meet on Friday, Hersey has that you enter the park for two hours the night before for free. Maybe we can even let the kids play at the indoor pool. Saturday we can spend at the park and Sunday we could have an Easter devotional and breakfast. Maybe we could even fit in an Easter egg hunt around the hotel for the kids. It is conference weekend. It would be nice to be able to catch it on our laptops.

This is what I have come up with so far.

Williamsburgh -- Busch Gardens -- I loved it, but it's a bit far for us to travel back on Sunday. And you all thought the roller coasters were just okay.

HersheyPark -- is lovely. Good roller coasters. One like the dragster in Cedar Point. Closer for us to travel, easier to get back for work and school on Monday. Further for Bry and Kristie. Cheaper price to get in the park.

King's Dominion - you guys voted the best roller coasters. Still a bit far for us but do-able.

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together. I feel like we have come so far from where we were 2 years ago... when I didn't eve...
