Newlyweds

Life is really great as newlyweds. Its hard to accomplish ANYTHING because we just can seem to separate ourselves. As you can imagine, luggage and gifts are just everywhere! Not that we are complaining about it. We feel very blessed with everyone's generosity. The question just is.....Where to put it all!

Jake started his new job the day we got back from Utah. He is working at the law firm doing all sorts of paralegal work. He is working for a LDS guy, who just LOVES Jake. I mean, he invites us to dinner, and we're going to the Oriele's/Yankee's game on Friday, and invited us for conference, and buys Jake lunch everyday, and OFFERED JAKE A JOB AS PARTNER AT THE LAW FIRM if Jake decided to go into Law, which he does not want to do, but Gary is trying to work his magic on him. Gary even text messages Jake, EVERYDAY. Are we paying Jake to work, or for Gary to have a friend? Either way, he is a really nice guy, and has a cute little family, and they have gone above and beyond to make Jake and I feel welcome in Maryland.

School for me is still moving along. I gave out my first detentions today. It felt good. There were two guys who were just slacking off all day, and I spoke to them twice during the lab to get their act together, and then they left their lab and mess, and went talk to a girl instead. I just sat down with them at the table and said, " so if you were grading yourself today what type of grade would you give yourself"? They tried to say how hard they worked all day, and then I pointed at their lab with water all over the counter and eggs on the sink, and I think they got the point. I failed them for their lab, and told them they had detention. I ask them if they thought that was fair and they agreed.

Well, It was a GREAT weekend these past two weekends. Its crazy its over, but I would def put that as two of the happiest days of my life. Bowling was the perfect ending to all the partying as well!

I'm so excited for our growing family! Will Hettinger will be the cutest little addition.
