Hi Family

Well its been a week that Jake and I have been here. We are liking the area more, and the apartment is coming together slowly. Tomorrow we go back to IKEA for a couch. We still havent decided on which one.

I might be getting a job teaching dance one night a week which would be an answer to prayers. I couldn't figure out how I was going to get to dance this year, and this would be the perfect way. I miss choreographing, and having a studio to walk into and dance around for a few hours. When I'm upset...I actually have to deal with it like a normal person...no dancing it out for an hour!!!

The commute to work isn't bad at all. You wouldn't be suprised how far people commute EVERYDAY! The average is an hour, and thats the average! It is just so expensive to live here. I met a lady the other day who has a 4 year old, is pregnant, her husband was just deployed for Iraq and drove 2 hours ONE WAY to work everyday! Now she only has to drive an hour!!! I think that is the craziest thing I ever heard!

We have been doing lots of lesson planning this week. Its been nice meeting people. Everyone is so friendly. People say hi like they have known you forever. I always have to think "Do I know them??" which i never do. Fo some reason, I am not overwhelmed right now. Do I know anything about Floral Design? NO. Do I have anything prepared for Meet the Teachers night next week? No. Have I worked on the wedding? No. Do I have anything organized in my apartment? No.
But, I honestly, don't care! I think I am just trying to get my groove right now; Figure out how I fit into this new life. Once Jake leaves next Thursday, I will have to start pulling it all together. I hope I can accomplish things once I'm married!!!

anyway. I'm just about done at school, and I have to make a few trips out to the car with all these crazy curriculum guides.

i love you all! I miss my family!

Sounds like a happy life! I am glad for you. It's fun getting to know new places and sweetheart "You not in Logan anymore"....

I still pick the plaid - you'll be glad in the long run - you can put slipcovers on it easier -- and the other one looks like a dr. office couch.

Stacey everything will come together and turn out just great. If you can't dance family is only a phone call or e-mail away. Love you, can't wait to see you in your wedding dress and see all your dreams come true. You and Jess have found your prince's. P.S. I still liked the other couch.
