Mothers day (jess)

Funny blogs mom and stacey, Poor landon.
But hey... at least you got that pretty chanel bag from Mr. I stand in the rain and wait to be rescued. haha
so...last night as jeron and i were laying in bed... and jeron is half sleeping (like usual) I realized that mothers day is comming and now i get to bask in the festivities that mothers day brings... like...............

home made cards, and plates with kindergarten scribbles on it saying Happy Mothers Day(or some version of it) , Perhaps breakfast in bed, or a random cup with a flower in it ( that never exactly made it into the garden)

and maybe if I'm really lucky Mothers Day will be like how it was when we were all living home... It all started out happy and then bryant would call her retarted, or stacey and I teamed up against , or dad would say something stupid and we would all laugh except for mom... and she'd end up going to her room and slamming the door, or dad would be the first one to storm out and drive around all day..... and me stace and bry would just kinda stare at eachother thinking "here we go"..... and we'd have a little huddle and decide we have to really suck up now. and then by the end of the day we'd all be in the living room together laughing at ourselves and the events of the day.....................Ahhhhh how refreshing that sounds


I hope jeron and charly can give me a mothers day just like that....

Can U believe it.... ME........ a MOM. It's just fabulous. I wouldn't have it any other way

Father's Day was never any better -- but boy, did we have fun laughing in the living room!! I love our Sunday nights!

A Challenge

So Jake and I have been watching a lot of tv and decided to take pick at least one day of the week and not turn on the TV at all. We challenge you guys to do the same. We are going to do Mon ( our fam home evening day). So, we challenge you guys to do the same...no TV, no movies, and no excessive internet surfing for one day a week. Go for a walk, a hike, start reading a book together, clean, make dinner together, do random service for people you don't know, go to bed early! Let me know how it all goes!

hi Ya'll (thats what everyone says here in TX) Jeron and I have made great friends with Vanessa And Eder..... (jeron works with him) They are really down to earth and are SO good with charly. They are our age and both mexican.....(jeron fits right in with them... lol kidding) Last night the 4 1/2 of us went to a carnival.... we all took turns riding the rides and watching charly.... then we all stuffed our faces with corn on the cob, cotton candy (which charly loved), and caramel apples YUMM. we watched all the animals in the petting zoo, got fake tattoos (some things never get old) and just sat and talked. It was so fun. It just made me feel so good.....Just in the sense of me and jeron and charly being our own little family in Texas..... 100's of miles from where we were raised..........being on our own... not depending on anyone anymore.... and being so happy together. I feel like we have come so far from where we were 2 years ago... when I didn't eve...
